Who Are Lao Travel Links?

Our goal is to enhance destinations for residents and travelers. Located in Luang Prabang, our non-profit organization supports orphans, impoverished ethnic students, and local grassroots organizations in northern Laos We seek to promote sustainable development and advocate for positive societal and environmental changes through responsible tourism. Our ambition is to lead the way in promoting ethical practices within the Southeast Asian travel industry, leveraging tourism for poverty alleviation and sustainable development.

Chanthavong Vilay (POM)

Managing Director
POM is a veteran of the hotel tourism industry in Laos, with a passion for travel. During his twenty-year career, he has visited many countries in Southeast Asia and other parts of Asia. Inspired by the people, colors, tastes, and cultural heritage of Luang Prabang, POM creates unique and memorable experiences for visitors to Laos. He focuses on connecting with local culture and preserving natural resources. One of his most inspiring travel experiences is enjoying early morning coffee and engaging in meaningful conversations with wise people from the west.

Nam Vanh

Deputy General Manager
Nam Vanh is an experienced professional in Laos' hotel and tourism industry, driven by a passion for travel. She is dedicated to crafting distinctive experiences for visitors, drawing inspiration from the rich culture of Luang Prabang. Her focus is on engaging with local traditions, safeguarding natural resources, and she takes pleasure in preparing breakfast and engaging in enriching conversations with individuals from diverse cultures.

Ken

Product Designer
Studying English and International Business in Vientiane sparked my interest in diverse cultures connecting with people. Over 4 years, I've gained experience in Sales, Operations, and Product Development with reputable companies in Laos. I've enjoyed fulfilling travels in Laos and Singapore, including exploring forests and visiting ethnic minority villages. I take pleasure in crafting authentic travel experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Phontip

Sales Supervisor
After university, Phontip joined the airline and travel industry, gaining 15 years of experience. She is passionate about connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and learning about the cultures and nature of Lao minorities. Since 2023, she has been with the Lao airline team, specializing in crafting unique itineraries for clients. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, European music, trying new local cuisine, and traveling with family and friends.

Simon

Operations
Simon graduated from the University of Laos' tourism faculty and then began his career in. With over 3 years of experience in market research and sightseeing in the region, has a deep passion the hospitality and tourism industries. He has in-depth knowledge of multiple cultures in Southeast Asia and excels in developing cooperative working relationships across all areas of the service business.
